PORTLAND, Ore. (April 1, 2025) – Director of Sales & Marketing Jeff Houghtaling, PhD, at West Hills Village Senior Residence, a senior living community managed by The Goodman Group, was recognized as the Marketer of the Month by the Oregon Senior Referral Agency Association (OSRAA). Nearly 40 guests were in attendance for this ceremony, which occurred during a happy hour hosted by the community for professionals in the industry.

The Marketer of the Month award recognizes outstanding individuals in the senior housing industry who are committed to serving older adults in Oregon. The hard work, integrity, knowledge, and professionalism of marketers are taken into account when selecting the recipient of this award.

“Each month, OSRAA members nominate and vote on a community marketing director that they have had a good experience with,” said Bess Lindahl, president of the OSRAA and owner of Care and Keeping referral agency. “This includes timeliness of communication and replies, how they interacted with the families and clients we introduce them to, and their overall collaboration with us. Everyone that voted agreed that Jeff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when touring with our clients. He provides a calm reassurance that we appreciate, and we also trust him to be honest and transparent. Jeff always responds immediately to referrals, questions about levels of care, and is quick to schedule tours for us. He really is a wonderful partner in this industry.”
